Larrin C. Thompson is an associate with the firm. She received a B.S. from Vanderbilt University in 2004, a M.P.H. from The George Washing University in 2008, and a J.D. from The Salmon P. Chase College of Law in 2011. She is admitted to practice in all Kentucky state courts, as well as the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Kentucky. Larrin brings to the firm an extensive background in both litigation and the health care industry. Prior to joining the firm, she served as a judicial clerk for Hon. Edward B. Atkins of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Kentucky, and both Justices Will T. Scott and Daniel J. Venters of the Kentucky Supreme Court. Upon completion of her tenure as clerk, Larrin joined a Lexington firm where she defended both corporate and individual clients in matters of automobile and premises liability. After leaving the firm, she went on to serve as Asst. General Counsel for a Kentucky hospital corporation where she led the corporation through one of the first HIPPA audits in the state. Most recently, Larrin served as a legal consultant advising pharmaceutical and health care corporations involved in complex matters of litigation with both state and federal government agencies. Since joining Nichols Darling, PLLC, Larrin’s practice is focused solely on all aspects of medical malpractice defense.
